Board of Directors Richfield Swim Club is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Board meets on the first Monday of each month. All parents are encouraged to contact the team President to have any specific topic placed on the agenda for discussion at an upcoming meeting. All parents interested in joining the board are encouraged to do so. We are always looking for fresh new ideas. This is your chance to be more involved in your child's activity and learn about the sport. Please contact the head coach or club president with your interest to join the board. Prepares and keeps a record of proceedings of all board meetings. Makes meeting notes available to all team members in a timely fashion. Maintains team accounts, is responsible for sending out invoices and collecting account payments. Keeps an accurate record of the finances of the team and provides a record of finances at each board meeting. Distributes funds for all meet entries and other team purchases. Plans and executes all non-meet fund raising activities. Coordinates publicity. Special Functions: available Coordinates and executes all team-wide social functions and team banquet. Meet Director: Catherine Grant email: cmgrant@mn.rr.com phone: 612-670-1638 Organizes and executes all aspects of team sponsored meets, which includes sanctioning meet, preparing meet information, setting up Meet Manager files, coordination of vendor sales, organization of meet officials, procurement of awards and everything pertaining to the "wet side" of a meet. Assistant Meet Director/Entry Chair: available Assists Meet Director with his/her duties during the meets, serves as Entry Chair for team sponsored meets. Equipment Manager: available Responsible for all meet electronic equipment, including pads, cables, start unit, Colorado timing system, printers, computers, etc. Dry Side Meet Director: Meg Pospisil email: megpospisil@msn.com phone: 612-861-2444 Coordinates all aspects of "dry side" of meets, including organizing a work force for team sponsored meets, and organizing and executing the sales of concessions. This includes purchasing supplies and organizing the work force. Serves as trouble-shooter for volunteers and concessions during meets.
